Any other ladies have done blood test to check for inhereited disease? I did the test for cystic fibrosis and I came back as a carrier and also my husband. Now I'm being told our baby has a 1/4 chance of having the incurable disease.

I have a beautiful healthy almost three year old. I decided against the test during my pregnacy with her. Now that i have done it this pregnacy, with these results, I can't stop thinking about it. I can't change anything, just 23 weeks or so or stress and worry til we can meet our baby.

I decided against it because like you said, you can't change anything and it won't change how much we love our babies. I would just stay calm and wait until your baby comes, but thats my opinion
