gestational dibetes

So I'm 32weeks 6days and I'm just wondering do you normally get induced or go all 40 weeks ?

My doctor checks my belly with the measuring tape thingy but every 2 weeks

Normally they won't do another ultrasound but are they doing weekly monitoring? They should be able to tell what and if anything will stress the baby

I have to do the same with my sugar I was given a book to keep track of them and since I've been diagnosed I havent had an ultrasound to check his weight

Is that what u mean by checking growth of baby ?

With gestational diabetes, it depends on the growth of your baby. They should be monitoring you for that since you were diagnosed, of baby gets to be too big more than likely it'll result in a c section rather than an induction. I wasn't diagnosed but I was border line so I started following the diet and checking my fasting blood sugar and then once after a meal, just to keep an eyes, as long as you eat a low carb diet and continue with daily exercise youshould be able to keep your levels low and your baby healthy
