heels while pregnant?

Is it safe to wear heels while pregnant? My husband comes home next week and I haven't seen him in 6 long months so obvi I'm gonna curl my hair already got a new cute outfit but I really wanna wear my heals! They're booties and the heal isn't too big and it's thick too and they're comfy but is it bad to wear them while being pregnant? I'd wear them for maybe 3-4 hours since they have a company welcome party and I'd be sitting a lot of the time since there's a lot of debriefing and speeches. Please let me know I wanna look "hot" but not if it could harm my baby girl.

You sound like you would do fine in heels. I wore pretty high wedges to my baby shower and I ate **** witch scared me so I haven't worn them since. My balance without heels is pretty bad to begin with but if you're going to be sitting most of the time you probably won't have that problem.

@itslea yea I'll be extra cautious when walking!  I don't think I could wear skinny heals that's a bit too much for me plus they'd get stuck in the grass! Thank you! He's been deployed since I was about 2 weeks pregnant so he's missed everything so far but I'm thankful he's gonna be here just in time for the holidays and birth of out daughter since not every Marine or person in the military is fortunate enough to have that privilege (:

You can wear them just be extra cautious. Im 26+4 and I wear a 5 inch, skinny heel to church almost every Sunday. I'm just careful not fall or buckle lol. By the way congrats on having your hubby home!

@stacyal91 Omg hahahha my feet turn into balloons when I wear flats!!
@sarahkahealani well I'll have my sons stroller to help balance as well since he isn't much of a morning person hahaha I couldn't wear heals to my baby shower I'd get the biggest calf workout with all the running around like a chicken with it's head caught off! I give you mad props for that!

The only risk of wearing heels is twisting your ankle or tripping and falling which can hurt you and baby. Otherwise they're completely safe. I wear heels all the time. Even to my baby shower a few weeks ago. Just make sure they're not too high. But as long as you can walk and be comfortable in them go for it. Just be careful not to fall or twist your ankle. The wider the heel the better. Look good for your man!!!

We're the complete opposite. Flats are then only shoes that don't swell my feet up. Lord knows how I'm gonna wear my snow boots! Lol, you're welcome though.  :)

Im gonna take my boots flats actually make my feet hurt? Maybe cause they're so close to the ground because same thing happens with sandals. Thank you though (:

I think heels are fine, just be careful when walking. Maybe take some cute flats just in case your feet start to swell up. Good luck!  :)
