help please ftm with a 2week5day old

My daughter is 2weeks 5days and she has crusty green boogers on her right eye and inside wet green boogers what can i do to make it clear up im nursering and heard breast milk works but any suggestions would help thanks?

My three week old had the same his pediatrician said its bc their sinus passages aren't open all the way yet all I did was wipe it away with a wipe and it went away on its own after a few days

its common for new borns to get this and the best thing is breast milk, but you do have to do it often so it will clear up, also when wiping make sure you wipe from in inside of the eye towards the out in one wipe, then get a new cotton ball etc if you have to do it again :)

The thing I read said to just squirt a few drops in their eyes and it can heal pink eye and all kind of eye infections.

I've never heard of that but makes me want to freeze extra in case that happens...

Sounds gross, but I've heard if you put breast milk in their eye that it clears up almost instantly

I used damp warm cloth.

And wipe the cotton wool once n bin it or it will spread x

Cooled boiled water on cotton wool and wipe very gently.
