I would have my dad cuz he could comfort u I was in the room with my cousin I was up beside her and I didnt see anything nor did I want to I think it would be something that would bring yall closer together and it sounds like he really wants to be there dont break his heart
Thanks yall. This is his 10th grandchild. He just retired and has rode with me to all the appointments. He is so excited and im just nervous. He told me he would stay by my head i guess im just freaking out because its gettin close. I lost my plug yesterday and have been having false labor for 2 days.
I would have your dad there if he wants to be I think it's great. Just get him to stand near your head. And when it comes time to push you don't actually take notice of who is in the room and who isn't or who is where in the room. I wish my dad could have been in the room for the delivery if my children but he couldn't stand seeing his child (and my sister when she gave birth) in that much pain. For my second child, my brother was also in the room simply due to not having the time to get out before delivery his choice was to sit head buried in the corner and wait the birth out,or walk past and risk seeing the delivery.
Im just getting anxious i guess. Just dont want him all in my hooha. Thanks for the comments
They can position him up by your head so he wont see anything. Take him and your best friend
You should have your dad there. Just have him stand by you...hold your hand. I can understand you don't want him seeing down there...he doesn't have to. It will be so awesome when he sees the baby for the first time!
if it comes to yur mom not bein able to go juss tell yur dad yu would be uncomfertable fur him to be in the room wit yu cuz yur lady parts will be all out... tell him yu would like to have him there, mby right outside the room but not inside... nd he can go in while yur in labor but wen it comes to pushin yu could ask him to leave the room
Just tell your dad it is too weird to have him in the delivery room.
