hemoroids? tmi sorry

I had to force bowel movements for my entire first trimester and now every time I go, I bleed. Like the water in the toilet is red when I'm done. It doesn't hurt but it makes me worry. I thought the blood was coming for my vag (tmi sorry) at first but with a lot of investigation I found it was my bottom. I'm 17+4 and my doctor said its normal..? What can I do? My fiancé is completely freaked out and wants to go to the ER every time I poo.

Thanks ladies! I eat fiber bars all the time and no luck. It is bright red so I'm glad that means its good. I'll try some of what you suggested @jwilliams81.

Hahahaha I posted this exact thing a week or so ago! For the past week, I bleed hard core when I pooped... And it hurt so bad! I guess it's a tear or a hemmroid burst or something. Not to serious. I was told if it's bright blood, it's good, but if it's dark red or brown red, it's bad. My boyfriend wanted me to go to the doctors too every time I pooped! Lol. But a week and some days later, my poops are kind of getting back to normal... Still bleeds a little but not like before.  Goodluck girl! Pregnancy symptoms suck! I pooped awesome all through my first trimester, and now it's starting to suck :-( damn constipation.

You can safely take metamucil and milk of magnesia.  The metamucil I get is the kind that tastes like oj when mixed in water.  The milk of magnesia goes down a lot harder it is gross but it works faster.  Both are completely safe during pregnancy.  Should also try to eat a lot more fiber, get a fiber cereal or fiber bars for breakfast.  Also prune juice or dried prunes will help, only need to eat 5 a day.  Good luck!

You should ask your doctor what you can take to help them, I honestly can't remember what mine said to take, it is normal, though!
