high resting heart rate?

I had a health check up yesterday because we've just switched our doctors. The woman doing the check told me my pulse rate was too fast and told me to mention it when I see the midwife (I'm 5w 6d). I googled later to see what a normal resting heart rate should be (80-105 in pregnant women), then I checked mine and its at 116bpm. I constantly feel as though my heart is racing. I did read somewhere it can be a sign you're having twins.

So after a long rambling backstory...
1. Should I be concerned about my fast pulse or just wait until I see the midwife on the 28th and see what she says?

2. If you have/had/are having twins, did your heart rate increase significantly (so you could really feel it)
Thanks x

You should wait and see, mine has always been around 110-120 at rest.
