I'd love to do a home birth but hubby isn't comfortable with the idea. I finally talked him into a birth center but something didn't sit right with that for some dumb reason. So back to the hospital it is. But if there's a next time, we'll be either at home or at our local center.
I had a home birth two months ago! It was awesome! They are not dangerous, they havebeen pproven safer or just as safe as hospitals. Midwives are trained to be abke tospot a pproblem and transfer to a hospital if they need to.
I wanted to do a home birth so bad!!! But I was afraid if something went wrong... but as I got farther along I read more and more about it. I may do one with my next, or at least a water birth at a birthing center
I wanted to do a home birth but anything can go wrong during a birth so I decided to do a natural water birth at my hospital. I won't be connected to any iv's or any machines, and I have a midwife rather than a doctor. I love my midwife so much more than my doctor, my doctor is always rushing me around and my midwife is just calm and relaxed and does what I want to do.
At home births can be dangerous just because if you have something unexpected happen you won't have the proper care.
Yup I have cuz I dont like all the extra poking and proding the hospital setting has. Also they seem to set a time limit and overuse pitocin to try to hurry you along. Not saying its bad to have a hospital birth cuz sometimes they really do save lives. I just want it quieter and with less anal action cuz id rather not add anymore pain
I never considered it. But my friend had her daughter at home
