its good that you can set your hot tub's temp! I know how relaxing it is... esp. now that I'm 33weeks!

Thanks!~  We turned the temp down to about 100 (between 99 and 100) and thats what I do.  I get in for about 5 mins and then I'm out.  I am always soooo cold, I never even break a sweat in the hot tub - before I was preggers everyone was getting out cause they were hot and I would still be in.  LOL!!  I have always been cold.  With 2 youngsters and #3 on the way thats how hubby and I relax - put kids to bed and sit in hot tub...LOL...it does wonders for my attitude!!!

You can only use the hot tub as long as the temp is set to 100 degrees or lower! (98-99 is best)

I'd suggest staying away from hot tubs most of your first trimester unless it's at a decent temp. Basically any water that is warm enough to make your skin pink is too warm or so I've been told. HOWEVER~ we have a hot tub in my apartments that varies in temp. What I've done since the beginning of my pregnancy is sit in the water, submerged (to my waist or neck) for about 2-3 min. then I sit on the top step w/my legs in the water for 10min or so... by doing that I can tell when I begin to get warm, because once my skin on my upper body is dry, If I get too warm I begin to feel flushed and know it's time to get out. :) And my little TJ is doing great in there so far! Only 5 1/2 weeks left!

im not really sure....but from what i have read no its not....hot tubs are very hot and when your pregnant your temp isnt supposed to get that high....they say even in the summer try and stay out of the heat because its harmful to the fetus!! So to be safe i would say no...dont use it....unless you turn it down to what your bath would be like...like luke warm maby should be ok... im not positive on either of that..but i thought you would likee a opinion...lol im sure youll get more...and some of the girls on here know a lot more so maby one of them can awnser better!! Best of luck hun...by the way how far along are you??
