how to deal with contractions at work

So yesterday I had posted bout being in pain n all kinda stuff n needing support. I thank the ladies who responded n took time to hear me. So that night my husband or son n my in laws all went out to eat for my hubbys 22nd bday. All threw dinner I continued to have contractions. Adam wouldn't let me go home unless he was able to get me checked out n he thought I was leaking fluid. Well fluid was a big negative. I'm not leaking so that's great. But I was having strong contractions n dilated another centimeter n they were regular but they sent me home. Well they eased off threw the night but they r starting back. Well I have to leave for work in 2 hrs. N my boss dnt want me taking time off till water breaks. Well my question is how can I manage the contractions n still do an adequate job at work. I work at Specers so I'm not aloud to sit down during shift. I'm constantly walking n bending over n all n have to get on ladder.

I would tell her that you're in labor just not "active" labor because you're contractions are to far apart and you're not coming in! There's no way I'd be going to work with contractions! I'm starting my leave with I'm a cpl days shy of 37 weeks to try to avoid any trouble & to get things all ready for the baby

I'm 38 weeks n ya she expects me to work till I have the baby. Its frustrating!! I told her one time I couldn't come in cuz of excessive diarrhea n she got pissed n she told me Friday she best not get a call from me today saying I can't come into work cuz of baby.

For me its taking deep breaths, staying calm, its better not to think about it, try occupying your time,  and not tense up when one starts.

I would tell your boss you're having contractions & you're not coming in! Not everybodys water breaks so it seems crazy that he doesn't want you to take any time off until then! How far are you?
