Well going past your due date can also result with the baby letting go of his first bowel movement in the womb which could be fatal and cause me multiple problems and i could lose my baby in the process i would never go more than a week past my due date
Have to agree with wayfunmommy. Couldn't imagine anything worse then using laxetives with a kidney infection, you've got enough going on! Give the antibiotics the whole course to work and keep your dr updated on how your coping. Your so close now! Then the real work, i mean fun, begins ;)
You don't want castor oil. Those diarrhea cramps are going to be terrible with a kidney infection not to mention it isn't good for your kidney. On top of that, nothing works unless your body is already in the process of labor. Do you really want to take medical advice rat can effect your health and the health of your baby from strangers who have no medical training.
It is normal to only have two sonograms. Some people only get one. It is also normal to not be checked at all until you are in labor. It is also normal to not induce someone because they have a kidney infection. Are you aware of the further damage to your kidney the mess from induction can cause? Also add in the extra pain of labor on top of that and the fact that the majority of inductions end in c section and awareness induction is doing far worse to you and your baby than hanging in there for awareness couple more weeks.
Also, there is no way to know exactly how big your baby is. They often measure two pounds larger than they actually are. Your baby may only be 5 pounds. Also, very few women grow babies larger than what their bodies can handle. I've witnessed a woman (5'2") deliver a ten pound baby naturally with no interventions or tearing. My oldest was 8 1/2 pounds and I'm barely bigger than you. He delivered just fine.
Relax. Drink a crap ton of water. You should be drinking a gallon on a normal pregnant day. Have some cranberry juice. Even a beer will help your kidney and be far easier on you and no baby than and non induction.
Were do you buy castor oil?
How much of it did you take?
I toook castor oil at 37+6 I had my son the next morning at 38 weeks exactly.
