i have no idea whats going on

i am an eigteen year old female i had unprotected sex on july 26 on july 29 i began 2 spot  and  about 1 and 1/2 to 2 weeks later i had terrible headaches with some light spotting again i took an over the counter pregnancy test aug. the first an aug.11 both were negitive ...i have had my cycle since i was 12 it has always been 8 days long and 32 days apart i missed it completley in aug.on sep 7 i went 2 the hospital for heavy bleeding they took a test and it said i was not pregnant but they could not tell me what was wrong the bleeding lasted till sep.9 which still would not make it a normal cycle on sep.18 i began 2 spot again then on the 20th and 21st of sep. i began to spot again i went to the gyn and she saw that i had an excessive growth of bacteria she prescribed metronidazole for 7 days and could not tell me what was going on with my cycle i began taking the meds. on the 3rd of october, everything seemed to clear up when i was done the meds. on the 10th to the 16th of october i had an almost normal cycle on the 18th i had painful intercourse and i stopped immeditley on the 21st it was painful to urinate and pressure like i have to go but i didnt now along with that i have white growth on my tounge in the middle...( while i had the bacteria infection my boyfriend preformed oral sex so i dont know if he got it in his mouth and now it has passed back to  me orally  the doctor said it wasnt sexually transmitted and i didnt have any std's or hiv) i really dont understand whats going on with me this never happened before and ive been sexually active with the same person since july 8 2005 do u have any advice or suggestions i just want 2 know whats going on  am i pregnant? do i have another inection? whats going on? thank you

Google "Bacterial Vaginosis". I had this a while back when I was about 19. Kinda sounds like what I had. You get it from using soaps with fragrance and it messes with the pH levels in your vagina. It kills healthy bacteria and the harmful bacteria multiples. That's the only thing I can think of. I dont remember the medicine I was prescibed but it went away within a week! My doc said it wasn't an STI/STD but she said that we could still pass it back and forth to each other...(That confused me) I'm not sure about the mouth and tongue thing or if its related. See your doc and dont be afraid to tell them everything! I know I used to be afraid and embarassed to tell my doc what was really going on but thats the only way to get better! They won't judge you! They've seen WAY worse things, I'm sure!
Until then, take the meds and try to stop having sex for a little while so both of you can have time to get rid of the bacteria! Good Luck***

Sounds like an irregular period. My advice is to go see your regular OBGYN and ask if they'll check your thyroid and hormones. The reasons your periods are "off" is because of a hormonal imbalance (whether due to stress or something else).
