income tax..

Hi everybody so my question is .. I had my bby on nov 26 could i put him on the income tax or he needs to be a specific age?

I work for a state dept of revenue. As long as baby is born by 11:59:59pm 12/31 you can include them as a deduction

Yes you can claim him as long as you have his social security card before you file.

im about 99% sure you can...in Massachusetts if you have your baby before January of the new year, you can claim your child on your taxes and get a big tax credit (totally helpful) if my son is born (to the latest) December 31st of THIS year, ill be able to claim him on my taxes. if i have him in 2013, i cant claim him for my 2012 taxes....

but im pretty positive its the same for all states
