induced!?

Today the doctor set a date to induce me Igot 6 days before I meet my little one.. I just wanna know who has been induced n wat they do n how they do it n how long labor lasted for those who have got induced?

Plus I been havin alot of discharge it could be from my cervix bein checked today but it slowed down a bit then picked back but since I walked I been havin quite a bit of back pain

Well this is my first pregnancy other than one miscarriage n on Christmas ill be entering my 39 weeksn im dilated to 2 cm already but I been walking to help the process

I was induced with both of my babies.  Once you get to the hospital they will get you in your gown, hook you up to the monitors and get your IV started. They ran two bags of pitocin through my IV then broke my water. Then you play the waiting game....if you choose to get an epidural they will normally administer it once you are dilated to a 4. I got the Epi both times and it was wonderful!! I was dilated to a 3 before getting to the hospital with both babies so both labors went fast. First was 4 hours start to finish and the second was a little under 3.5 hours. Every situation is different though ☺️

I was due October 8th and was induced a wk after when they seen I wasn't going into labor on my own went in at 8am started me on pitocin and placed something in my cervix to soften it didn't help much was getting contractions but wasn't dilating so they decided to break my water but nope didn't help either so ended up having a csection the next day from being induced....

My due date is jan 1st but she decided that day unless he comes before then lol which is crazy to know if he dont come before then he is gonna come that day omg I cant wait n atleast we know our doctor will be there for sure n wat time ull be in the hospital so I can prepare wat I need ton let ppl know so I dont have to worry bout callin everyone but I just dont know the methods they use to induce
