After the 90days they have to.have a legit reason. I got pregnant during my 90days they fired me on my 91st day because "I'm just not responsible" and I had a "no call no show" for a day I wasn't on the schedule but apparently the other tech was supposed to tell.me.I had to.go in! It wasn't her.dam*job to.tell.me.they needed me.they should have.told me. Yeah the right to.work.shi* is B S! I'm sorry girl.I.totally feel ya! Oh and they new I was pregnant cause I worked there with my roommate and she.told them. Nice roommate huh? The next thing I knew the woman who I had replaced cause she had just had a baby, was back working there.

Thing that ***** about right to work state, is they can fire you for anything, even the way you walk.

I'm in a right to work state also. I don't think it was because I was pregnant though I'm not sure. & yes I was still in my probationary period..

Your first step would be Human Resources. If necessary, you can take it to the EEOC, Equal Employment Opportuntiy Commission (if you google EEOC it pops right up). Unless they have a valid reason for firing you - and that's not one of them - or a documented pattern of you underperforming, it does sound like pregnancy discrimination. I'd definitely fight it, if it were me.

thats not a reason to fire you! That HAVE to have a valid reason to fire you! I would seriously stand up to them and stand up for your rights.

A friend of mine got fired because she was pregnant, her manager literally told her that if she didnt quit then she would be fired because she was pregnant. She wishes she would have stood up for her rights but now its too late.

If you're passed your probationary period (is what we call it in canada) it's usually the first 90 days they can't fire you!

She gave me a reason... "It's not working out & when u do something wrong you seem not to care". That's such a lie & no reason to fire anyone!! Uh whatever I'm just gunna sit and eat this whole batch of brownies & cry

You cant be fired for no reason, call your manager and ask whats goin on and if he refuses to tell you then id call a lawyer or talk to the better business burrow(sp?).
Its really hard and emotional bein pregnant with no income. My fiance lost his job the day after my dad passed away so I can relate. just keep your head up, everything will work out

Better be sure he has a good reason. If not he can get in trouble for discriminating against a pregnant woman.

You need to talk to the manager and ask what is happening.
