labor & genetics??

Okay, this might sound dumb, but I was wondering, even though every pregnancy is different, does genetics have any influence on your labor process?
Like with me, my mom had me vaginally, but she had to be.induced.
After me the rest of my sisters came all on their own.

And then I was told.its always difficult with your first child, and I.guess I'm just curious because I'm 34 weeks and 3 days, and baby is head down already, but I know.I.can't predict how it will go.

Genetics play a very, very small role in our lives, so it's safe to say genetics will not have an influence on labor. It all depends on your lifestyle and how you treat your body during your pregnancy. Exercising and yoga are known to help speed up deliveries, so trying some different routines might help out. I believe just walking may even do the trick. :)
