lactation?

When did you start lactating?

I'm 31 weeks and really want to breastfeed. But my breasts are not getting heavier, nor are they even leaking the clear fluid or anything.

Did anyone start lactating after birth? Or is this a sign I might not makile enough milk or any at all?

I didn't start leaking with either of my pregnancies. When my milk comes in after baby is born I get a little leaking, but not too much

I'm 38 weeks and have no leaked at all. A friend of mine had her daughter about 5 weeks ago and she didn't start until she gave birth. So you have nothing to worry about :)

My mom had four kids. She never had leaking before birth, but actually was making more milk than the baby could consume just a few days after they were born. I wouldn't worry too much about it just yet. If you do have a hard time with milk production, there are things you can do to increase your supply. :)
