I was just wonder if anyone on here has taken a pregnancy test or tests and they have came out negative then
went to the doctors for a blood test and the results were positive? I go to the doctors on Tuesday for a blood test. I have taken 3 test and negative but it has been 10 days and still no AF. Let me know any of your stories or what you think. Thanks!!

Why must our bodies torture us!!! I've gotten negative HPTs, never testing in the AM but i figured tests were pretty good now a days and time of day didnt matter. But i'm gonna call my dr tomorrow and see what the hecks going on.

It is so frustrating a least this has happen to you before. This has never happen to me ever i dont know what to think, Make a doctors appointment thats the best thing to do.

See i  have been reading a lot of stories like your i wonder why i will come up negative on the hpt but positive on the blood test? I go Tuesday for blood work so we will see what happens

When I got pregnant with my daughter, I had 2 hpt come up negative.  I then went to my local health department and their urine test came up negative as well as my family dr did a urine test and it was negative too.  My dr had to ask me if I felt like I was pregnant and I said yes so he did a blood test and it was positive!  I also know that the time of day that you take the hpt can affect the results.  Your best results will come from your first urine of the day!  That is when it is the most potent and will have the highest level of HCG in it.

This can absolutely happen if the HPT was taken too early.  That said, most pregnant women will get a positive on a HPT about 14 days after conception.  If you are 10 days late for AF a HPT performed at this time should be very accurate.
