major leg cramps

Since about 16 weeks i get major leg cramps. Its worse in my right leg as most of my pain and swelling is on my right side. Drs say its the position of the baby but it really hurts. I wake up all night with major cramps and charlie horse feelings. I try using body pillows and i drink plenty of fluids. Anybody else having this problem?  Im willing to try anything to get these cramps to go away or be not so intense.

I'm having this same problem in the lower part of my right leg. Bananas and staying hydrated aren't making a difference. My doctor said to look around for potassium supplements and try taking those everyday.

Eat bananas. Potassium helps keep cramps away. I eat a banana a day and definitely notice a difference. Don't use a potassium supplement without permission from a doctor, though, as too much potassium is bad, just like too much of anything else.
