My friend told me since I'm having a kid I should get a mammogram but when I called my doctor her nurse said that's only for women 40 and over...any opinions?
You will not get a mammogram at all while pregnant. Ive had a sonogram but thats all they will do untill baby is born.
It is, and that would it would be terrible while pregnant. My mom calls it the "boobie pancake" test lol
I've never heard this either. If thats where your boob get squished that would be cruel to do to a pregnant woman! Lol!
It's for women 40 and over or with a strong family history of breast cancer. During pregnancy your breasts are going to have lots of lumps and bumps that are completely normal so screening tests for breast cancer won't be accurate anyway.
I have never heard of that. I can't imagine why you would need one just because you're pregnant.
