Hi everyone, my daughter is almost 7 weeks old, an I had the mirena inserted on Tuesday I have been having a lot of cramping especially on my left lower stomach, has anyone else experienced this?

Omg I got it because I thought it would be one of the best methods, that scares me and doesn't sound safe! Can anyone recommend a good birth control that they have used I have don't the pill and depo before and not looking to go doen those streets again, I'm looking for somehing non hormonal that works. I know this has a low dosage but I forget to take the pill abd I was on the depo for a year and had complications than could jot concieve until a year and a half that I wad off of it, im just horrified now. Can any of this can't me to become infertile?

My aunt had that, she was having horrible pains. it fell out an she didn't know & she got pregnant..

One of my friends had to been seen a week after because it fell outta place that same friend 6 months later had to get it removed because it grew into her uterus...another friend had hers for about a year and a half and ended up getting a major infection where she had to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks

Ive had 4 friends to have it and all had complication 1 had it fall out one had it grow into the wall of her uterus one had it puncture her uterus and one slipped down into cervix and was in severe pain fir weeks her doc told her it was normal to have discomfort just take tylenol till it subsides finally she couldn't take it anymore had it taken out and it was j shaped from being stuck half in and half out of her cccervix

I also started ny period Monday for the first time, but I don't remember cramps feeling like this and its mainly on my left, I will be sure to call my doc first thing on Monday! Do u know if ur friends had complications right after they got it inserted?

I have never personally been through this but all of my friends who had it had many complications...you might wanna call your Dr and see about getting seen again because I heard they can move outta place and cause pain
