miscarriage?

I am about 7 weeks prgnt and had all the usual symptoms of early prgncy, but as quick as they started now they have all gone away.  I don't feel the slightest bit or morning sickness.  My breasts aren't as sore as they were.  But I haven't had any bleeding or anything to make it clear I have miscarried.  Is it likely I am jsut done already with morning sickness?

Thank you so much for the support.  We have several other children and have decided not to share any of this with any of our family.  (We hadn't yet broke the good news either) In the end I felt like it was too much information for them to absorb and understand, and our families weren't real supportive of another baby in the first place.  So no harm no foul I guess this way.  Anyway, I appreciate the support because I have no one to share with except my husband and while he is loving and supportive he dosen't understand what I am going through.  So now that you know my life story....

I went to the Dr today and he suggested having another ultrasound next tuesday and checking the HCG levels again.  (they checked them today and Tuesday.  Tuesday registered normal for 6 weeks but not 9)  But after talking to the Dr.  today and praying about it and discussing it all with my husband, we boht agree maybe we should go ahead and plan on a D and C.  And if it hahppens on it's own in the mean time we will deal with it.  The Dr said sometimes letting it happen naturally can be pretty painful.  But he is very supportive either way.  Also I think I would feel better having it be the Drs responsibility in case of any hemmoraging or anything weird.  My uterus gets stranger the older I get I swear! So this is the long and the short of it I guess.

Sorry to hear you have had to go through this so many times.  This is my second time around but I wasn't trying the other time, so this time seems alot more painful to go through. We have both been mindful of how many women go through this repeatedly.  Thanks for sharing with me and any opinion or advice is appreciated.

Congratulations on your baby girl and blessings to you.

I am so sorry to hear that.  I wish you the best of luck.  I have had many m/c in the past.  All of them were very early, approx 5-7 weeks.   Sometimes i waited to test and didnt realize i was pregnant because of how crazy my cycle was, but I have never had a dnc.  Always natural.  Its a very personal decision.  I echo my sentiments in wishing you the best.  Plz keep in touch and if you choose, let us know what you decide with this decision and weather you will ttc again.  Either way, everyone is here to support you.  :-)

Thanks so much.  It is so hard trying to decide what to do.  My eyes are about to bug out of my head from reading so much on this website.  But I feel like knowledge is power. So since I have to go in the morning to decide what to do I am trying to position myself to make an informed decision.  By the way, do you know how to get the pregnancy ticker off my home page on here?  I can't seem to find a place to delete it.  Anyway thanks again and best wishes with your little one. Hope things are wonderful for you:)

well thanks to all the well meaning ladies.   Your encouragement is appreciated but I lost my baby this week.  My symptoms were exactly what I was afraid of.  The lack of symptoms rather.  I stopped having morning sickness and breast tenderness at about 6 weeks and that is when the dr said the baby stopped growing.  It has no heart beat at 9 weeks.  Unbelievable to me that I am still carrying around a baby that has ceased to thrive debating whether to have it removed or  wait on it to pass on its own.  I guess there are no definites in pregnancy.  This has just about squashed any remaining desire to have another go of it.

Any suggestions about what to do between the D and C or "natural miscarriage"?

Thanks again for the encouragement.  My friend keeps telling me the same thing.  I guess (hope) it has just been different from the other pregnancies I have had.  I have all girls so maybe this is just the difference in a boy pregnancy vs my girl pregnancies.  Wishful thinking right?!  I am due for an ultrasound in two weeks.  I'll keep ya posted.  I'm a stay at home mom too and love the outside interaction with other moms.  Good luck on your pregnancy and thanks for sharing.:)

I feel very hungry and bloated but that is about it. I was just saying today.... its so hard because in the beginning you dont feel pregnant. Good luck and try not to worry!! You'll be getting an ultra sound soon right?

I lost symptoms too, and a few weeks later they came back, worse than before! I am now 15 weeks and throwing up again after a nice reprieve. Try to enjoy it and now worry too much. :)

I started out in my pregnancy the same as you.  I had many of the symptoms of early pregnancy and then they all just stopped at about 7 weeks.  Since I have a history of very early miscarriages, I was freaking out.  My boobs stopped being tender, etc.  And I also did not start bleeding or anything like with prior m/c.  I am now 22 weeks pregnant.   I will say that at about 8.5 weeks, many symptoms came back with a vengeance.  I had awful morning sickness that did not leave til week 16, my boobs hurt badly about every other day, sciatic pain, etc.

Lets not jump to any conclusions like I did.  Take it easy and enjoy being pregnant.  I will hope that you have a symptom free pregnancy.  but if not, enjoy it until symptoms re-appear.  :-)    And Congrats!!!!

This happens sometimes as the hormones level out. I wouldnt worry too much about it unless you start to have cramping or bleeding. And congrats.
