miscarriage!?

I am over 3 weeks late. I have taken a home pregnancy test which came back positive. I have also been to the Dr where they have done an internal ultrasound and blood tests. The ultrasound showed gestational progress but not what was expected from the date of last period. Also my hormone levels did not double within 48 hrs like they were suppose to so the Dr is thinking possible misscariage. :( at this point I am scheduled for another internal untrasound to see if there is any change in growth. I guess I'm wondering if there is a change in the gestational growth but my hormone levels are not normal what could that mean?

I'm currently going through your same situation, my appointment isn't until Wednesday. Most moms I know are telling me bad news bc the HCG is supposed to double every 2 days or something & my nanny is also telling me she went through this with my god sister but everything is fine. My best advice is to stay positive bc stress isn't good if it turns out that everything is fine

Ah,  I am really sorry to hear this. I think occasionally the numbers of the beta test not doubling are a mistake but generally, that is one of those signs they look for.  Stay positive though as it's not over until it is over.  I know it is so hard.  I feel for you sweetie.  Hang in there and take care
