Sorry to hear about your lost, but I too had a miscarriage and I am o-negative blood type as well.  As soon as my blood work showed I was o-negative I received a rho-gam shot. I am unsure why they didn't give it to you because its very important to get it. I was told by my dr. that if I didn't get the shot then the chance of me carrying a baby to turn is not likely. Because when your o-negative and you get pregnant you body produces antibodies to reject the baby and without this shot then your body will continue to reject the baby.  I was told the shot last for two years and that if I were to get pregnant then I will receive another shot at 28 weeks for the baby.  I'm really sorry to hear about your lost but if you are interested in having a baby I would recommend getting the shot. Please speak with a dr. about it.
