mucous plug?

So.hope.this.isn't tmi but... I'm 40 wks and due today and about a half hour ago I.lost my mucous plug... How long til labor usually?

Thanks ladies!!! And started having contractions about 630 am and their stayin pretty consistant so fingers crossed!! (:

With my son I don't remember losing it. This pregnancy I started losing it 3 days before first it was yellowish clear, then brownish (tmi)

On my 1st i lost mine the day before gping into labour 4days early, with. my 2nd i didnt loose it at all & im now 35+5 with my 3rd i have bin loosing it very slowly over the past 2-3wk

With my first pregnancy I lost mine a day before I went in laborious, but everyone is different

you could lose your mucus plug up to 2 months b4 u have the baby but every women ids different so you may be there almost. any contractions???

The plug isn't an indicator of labour... Many women don't ever see before and some lose it for weeks upon weeks before giving birth. It could be overnight, you might have to just be induced. Are you having contractions? Those would be a better guideline
