mucus plug?

i am 33 weeks and i think i lost my mucus plug how does it look like and is it  big? mine looked brownish snot like jelly about the size of a quarter or so and there was alot of clear mucus everytime i wiped myself then the brownish mucus snot like discharged came out. it was quite gross!

Sounds like that's what it is!  I started losing mine on a Mon.....brownish, then went to clear for a few days, then blood tinged....and delivered on Sat.  Best of luck

Yes, that could be part of your mucous plug.  Some women lose it weeks before they go into labor but do mention this at your next doctors appointment.
