Cramps are normal as is back ache in early pregnancy. You can sit however you want and pretty much sleep whichever way as well. Because baby is so small it isn't going to hurt it. So what makes you feel comfortable. Yes you can still walk on a treadmill and until you are way further along you can still run. Lots of women exercise during pregnancy.
