Enjoy while she's little :) and Congrats!
Thanks, ive been giving her 3 oz & she finishes 1 1/2 oz. & she's 6 days old:) she's gona get chunky lol
My son is 8 days old and at first he was okay with 2oz. Now he has become a lot more hungry, so ive bumped him to 3oz sometimes 4oz. After he finishes, hes burped, sleeping, and content. My pediatrician told me there really is no schedule bc he is going to tell you when he's hungry no matter if you just fed him. Which is why i bumped up the ounces. I hope this helps! :)
Thank you! I did it rite:)
3 oz is definitely 1 1/2 scoops just wanted to clear that up for you. 2 1/2 goes in 5 oz.
Im doing rite now 3oz I'll see how it goes. Good luck:)
I been wondering this too. My baby is a week ago.. ftm here.. hospital told me 1-2 oz every 4 hours... but my baby awakes up every 2-3 hours she eats 2oz sometimes 3oz.. i hope im doing the right thing.. i guess a baby will let you know when shes hungry and when shes full.. Not every baby its the same and will nit eat the same amount.. im just going feed my baby when shes hungry.. good luck!!
2 1/2oz. Is okay to give her you dont have long before you can start putting alittle oatmeal in her bottle to make her full and get you and her alot more sleep.
Ive been giving her 2 ounces like every 2 1/2 hours.. so if i makr 2 1/2 ounces it'll be 1 1/2 scoops correct?? 3 ounces 2 scoops?
Every 2 oz of water is 1 scoop if formula. If you make 3 oz, use 2 1/2 scoops of formula. Do 3 oz. See how she takes it. :)
One scoop makes 2oz so 1 and 1/2 scoops and how offten does she eat my older kids ate every four hours my 7month old son eats every three hours he needs more and he only gets four oz every three hours
Just feed baby when shes hungry. Trust your instincts and your baby not a book. I nursed but ill tell ya my babies loved to eat ALL the time.
Thank you ladies very much.. its cuz.i dont really know if its okay to feed her more im scared she'll get sick. How many scoops for 3 ounces & 2 1/2 ounces?
Its okay to feed her more formula...just don't let eat until she's so full she pukes...maybe 3 ounces instead of 2...Good Luck!
Congrats!! If she's hungry, feed her more! I've always given my babies more than 2 ounces. Offer her 3 and see how she does....one scoop makes 2 ounces of formula..;-)
