nurse-family partnership?

I'm currently 20 weeks with my first baby and my doctor gave me some info about a program called "nurse-family partnership" pretty much I enroll and a registered nurse visits me at home throughout my pregnancy every week or every two weeks up until my baby is 2 years old. Its totally free because I am a first time mother and my insurance will cover it. But not sure if I should enroll Anybody anywhere been in the program. Would you recommend it?

The woman I have just had a baby girl and its her first so I soooo feel like she can relate to everything I'm going through. Its like having a best friend that truly does want to know every single lil thing about your pregnancy and pregnancy questions. I say go for it she can also help you with freebies to if you ask, my cousin got the hook up for a car seat and diapers and wipes plus a breast pump. I didn't know about them or I woulda asked before buying it all myself lol.

Well I have 8 siblings and they all have kids so I feel like I'm experienced since I was the one that would babysit for them but I'm thinking since my hub is at work everyday, and these hormones have me feeling depressed most days maybe the company would be nice. Also my hub already has a child from a passed relationship so I feel like he's not as into the pregnancy as I am like when I feel kicks and etc. He has nothing to say but he will listen and it makes me feel a little lonely.

I would have done it with my first if I had the option. Especially if u don't have help. Like someone experienced. I did fine but it would be nice to get free medical help!

I'm involved and the woman I've got is the greatest. She's so so so helpful and kind and very sweet. If I have questions she helps answer them and all of that (: I would recommend it
