ovary pain

Every month I assume when I am ovulating I get a sharp pain where my ovary is. I was wondering if this is normal or if there would be something wrong. Also this month I felt what I assume myself ovulating, but now I have not recived my period and am now 8 days late. I have taken 2 home pregnancy tests and both say negative. What is going on with my body?

Its totally normal to get ovary pain when ovulating.somtimes our bodys try to ovulate but the egg isnt released for whatever reasons and will try again.which could explain why your period is late.and negative tests, wait a week and test again.
