placenta smoothie

What does eating the placenta do for you after you have your baby?? I find it so odd and kind of disgusting but I actually would do it lol I saw a lady on tv  put hers in a smoothie and drink it! Has any already mommies done this?

I'm encapsulating mine, but I would have a hard time with the metallic smell while drinking it. If you could smell it.
I think it's awesome that you tried it though, and encapsulated too, Kolina

I did that.  It helps stop you from bleeding to much. And I got the rest capsulated. Helps with ppd and menopause when ur older. As well as tons of other stuff.

I haven't but I've read about a man's experience with it! He said that he put the chunks in with fruit to cover the taste, and the placenta chunks were raw. He said it smelled very metallic and when he tried a sip he almost threw up, it tasted just like placenta and it didn't hide the flavor whatsoever
