please read. id appreciate advice.

I have an almost 3yr old. She loves babies and is very excited to be having a baby sister soon. Well my 3 yr old really likes me tucking her into bed and hanging out for a minute till she falls asleep. I recently baby sat my niece who is 3 weeks old and we did a whole routine of putting her to sleep (my daughter helped). And then she fell asleep. Only problem was at one point the babys crying woke up my daughter but she didn't mind. She waited for me to give her a bottle and she fell back to sleep. I just want to know if its a bad idea to put her baby sister in the same room as her. I know she won't hurt her but I'm concerned if that's giving her too much responsibility. I know she's not the one doing it but because she wants to be helpful I'm a little nervous she might get up everytime she hears the baby. So good teaching her responsibility or is it too much??

I have four younger brothers and sisters and I remember loving being able to have my little sister in the room! You should just do a test run when the baby comes and see how it goes!

Id say its too much 4 her to handle shes only 3 & still needs a good nights sleep to be able to function & concentrate properly ! Think back when you had her as a newborn its tiring looking after a newborn day & night so let her get her sleep & let her help during the day :)
