My name is Jeanette and 35 and having my 4th baby. I was recently diagnosed with Raynauds Syndrome and tested positive for the Cardiolipin Antibody. I also am very uncomfortable due to my very poor blood flow and eczema now after reading up on this antibody I learned I could be at risk of 2nd or 3rd trimester miscarriage, still born pre-clampcia and early labor. Is this all true? My doctor only told me about being at risk for blood clots. Do I have more to worry about? Should I see a specialist? Am I in a potencial high risk pregnancy? Please help...
Absolutely there have been many successful pregnancies in cases similar.
But your pregnancy, with the lupus alone, will be considered high risk. But managed carefully, you certainly have great chances of having a healthy pregnancy and a safe delivery!
