positive then negative please help

So yesterday morning I took a pregnancy test and got a def. Positive this morning I took another and it was negative.  Anyone have any advice?

Yeah I tested with a blue dye test once when I knew for a fact I had no chance of testing positive and got a + sign. After that I never used them again. Weirdly enough even dollar store tests are more accurate and use pink dye. I uses dollar stores tests to get a positive with both of my daughters and then confirmed with a first response.

Oh ok I didn't know that. The Dr got a negative. I don't know what they used but I'm thinking the test that I took and got a positive was wrong. I will get another brand with pink and if I don't start my period ill take it in a few days. It is really frustrating getting false positives lol.

Yes, they're well known at causing false positives and EVAP lines. Get a pink due and retest with first morning urine.

Yes they were all blue dye; are those worse?

Ya if you read it at 20 minutes it wasnt any good and was probably an evaporation line.

I got my one positive then a negative and today I got one that turned positive after 20 minutes so I disreguarded it.  My Dr gave me a Heine test and theirs was negative so they wouldn't do a blood test.  She told me she couldn't explain the positive result and told me to wait 7 days if I don't start my period test again and if it isn't positive then they would give me something to start my period.  I'm confused and stressed but they seemed to think in not so I guess I wont worry with it.  Kinds disappointed though.

I took one test and it showed positive and than fadded to negative after waiting the time the test said but a made a doctors appointment they checked and I was 7 weeks now I'm 9w 5d. The doctor said if I wasn't it would have never showed positive at all.

You can get a false positive test again or go to the doctor

Thanks so much!  I was very confused. My period is late ive not felt like eating and ive had mild cramps and headache.  I was starting to think my positive test was wrong

You will only ever get a positive if you are pregnant as the hormone levels are detected in your wee. The levels go up and down so don't panic, you are pregnant just very early. You can get negatives when it should be positive but never a positive if it should be negative as when pregnant your body produces another hormone .Congratulations xxx
