postpartum

On Sunday I'll Be 2 Weeks Postpartum And I Find That I Am Very Depressed About My Weight! Before Pregnancy I Was 106 And The Last Time I Weighed Before I Had Him I Was 155 And I Weighed The Other Day And I Had Only Lost 10 Pounds .... I'm Only Eating One Meal A Day To Try And Get Back Down To Where I Was! Any Advice Or Suggestions On Weight Loss?

Yeah definitely dont stave yourself it does make you body store fat. Your tummy will feel and look bloated for a while because the baby was in there for 9 months. But eating healthy and exercise WILL work. It took me 4 months to loose the 40 pounds I gaind during pregnancy and then I also lost an extra 20. It took 5 months total to loose 60 pounds.

Yea starving yourself is the worse thing to do. You will make your body shut down. Itll start storing fat instead of losing it because your not giving it enough to help it burn off... ive always been told to eat three small meals and two snacks in between. Drink lotssss of water and stay away from sugary drinks and food. Oh and AT LEAST 30 minutes a day go for a walk or do yoga. Start it slow. If you go all out at once youll be giving up in no time. You didnt gain it over night so you wont lose it like that..
Also that helps is the body slimmer you put on your waist when exercise. It helps you sweat and burn more calories. I know they sell them in most dollars store for like a dollar and if not ross and everywhere else sells them just a little more. Good luck and dont give up. It takes a lot of patience and hard work to lose weight and get in shape...

I actually heard about that if you start starving yourself your body will start storing that food you finally do eat as fat and you will get bigger. u have plenty of time to lose the weight let your body heal then start working out or going for walks

I agree with Maddiesmommy it took 9 months to gain the weight and it should take about the same amount of time to lose it! So don't get yourself too worried over it yet! Just make sure your eating healthy meals and when your doc gives you the ok start exersizing the weight will come off!

Give it some time ladies, it's still early, not even a month yet. Just think it took 9 months to get there surely it'll take more than 3 weeks to get back!

Dont be depressed! From my experience do NOT starve yourself mama! Eat small meals through out the day. Like a granola bar and a yogurt. A cup of fruit. Carrots/broccoli.. ur body will hold on to the weight if u dont eat. Also lots of water
