What is that? I had high blood pressure yesterday n i got call from my doctor saying i could have it. I have to go in today again for other test .

Thanks idk how high it was but i just got out clinic n my blood pressure was good tofay i tolf them i thought it was high cuz it was really hot yesterday n i had to speed walk ffrom bus stop to clinic cuz i thought i was going to b late dr said that could of caused it so im relieved but am going to b drinking more water n not stressing or nothin

Do you know how high it was yesterday? I had it with my first and was taken out of work and put on modified bedrest from 7 months on and went 9 days past my due date... Just avoid sodium, stress and drink tons of water to stay hydrated... Listen to your drs and focus on healthy baby...

Thats basically what it is, high blood pressure during pregnancy they will moniter it and if it stays too high they might recommend inducing you or c section.

It is when your blood pressure is high and usually protein in your urine. Other symptoms are excessive swelling,  severe headaches, and upper abdominal pain. If your blood pressure is really high they might put you on medication to lower it. If it is severe they could decide to induce you immediately. If you're not far enough along they might put you on an IV with stuff to avoid seizures and give you the shots to develop the babies lungs. Pre ecclampsia can turn into ecclampsia which can cause seizures and strokes, so they'll monitor you carefully. If your blood pressure is just mildly high chances are they'll put you on bed rest or light duty and monitor you more often.
