pregnancy acne-how to deal?

I've been getting bad acne (cystic) since the 2nd month of pregnancy.  Now that i'm past my 1st trimester, it's slightly better but still red and bumpy.  I'm worried I'll get scarring because of the type of acne (cystic acne is apparently more prone to scarring).  Is there any way to minimize the scarring?  What do you ladies use to cover up?  when does it go away?

You can find witch hazel at Walmart in the beauty aisle. I believe in the aisle with all the face cleansers. Or at a drugstore.

Yeah I'm thinking of seeing a dermatologist.  Never tried witch hazel.  Where can I find that?  I've been drinking tons of water already and eating lots of fruit to try to get rid of this nasty acne.  Hopefully it goes away sooon......

A dermatologist might be needed for this one. Have you tried witch hazel? I'm not sure what you could use that could be safe during pregnancy and that really stinks! I know how self-conscious it can make you feel. Just don't pick at it or touch it and that will reduce spreading it or irritating it (which could lead to scarring). Drink a TON of water and ditch all other drinks. Maybe there are certain foods that could also clear it up? I'm thinking maybe fresh fruits and veggies???
