pregnancy after dic

In late Feb. 2010 I delivered a stillborn baby boy.  It was very bad I had uncontrollable bleeding and had to have a blood transfusion.  My Dr. told me no more kids, but July my birth control failed and now I'm 25 weeks pregnant, and very afraid.  I go to all of my prenatal visits and I'm moving along find although Ihave to inject heparin shots twice a day.  Do you think I'm safe to deliver?

I would limit all strenuous activities, in fact talk to your doc about bedrest, maybe this will help

I don't know anything about this, but I believe everything happens for a reason, for you to fall pregnant whilst on bc after such a scary ordeal in my opinion means you are supposed to have a child. I think you will be fine :-) don't be afraid :-)

It's difficult to say. If your doctor says no more children though, you should consider sterilization so accidents don't happen. You could be fine with this one, but if you got pregnant again you might not be so lucky in the future.

you really want the baby staying in there as long as possible.... talk to your dr about it.... are they wanting to deliver early?  you really want the baby to develop more before delivery.... survival rate is not very high at 25 weeks and even if it did survive there are risks of the baby having disabilities
