I don't know, I thought I was pregnant all along but tests say I am not. I don't know
what is going on with me, but something is.........can you guess anything? Have you ever heard of this?
How does a person over a 4 day period swell up so large in regards to tubal-ligation and still having menstral periods?
I really hope it turns out I am wrong. Best of luck to you.
Kim
Thank you for your quick response. I will see my MD

I really don't want to scare you but a friend of mine was telling me about her mother just a few days ago and after hearing everything she had to say the first words out of my mouth was "is it ovarian cancer?" and sure enough it was and she is undergoing treatment now.....just the symptoms you describe concern me....this woman was older than you though.....I believe she is around 45
I have heard of some women continuing to have periods with pregnancy....but in light of your history of a tubal, continued periods, abdominal changes I would really urge you to see your OB/GYN. They will be able to do further testing for pregnancy (home tests are not always accurate) and if not pregnant they will be able to do further testing to see what is causing it...either way I really encourage you to see your MD ASAP
However, I wrote that I look pregnant in size and shape and feel some movement. I took the first response test and it showed negative. I have mentral periods still and they seem to be less flow than they use to be. I m larger in buttocks and have low back paid. I have had tubal ligation 12 years ago and my question to you is: Can I be pregnant and still have periods andlook pregnant in stomach with roundess and my shape changing. For the past 4 days I can't buttom my jeans. Can you suggest what I should do at this time?
Lisa
I really don't want to scare you but abdominal swelling can be a sign of ovarian cancer...this is of course worst case, but I know of several women where abdominal swelling and back ache were their only symptom. How old are you if you don't mind me asking,
