question for all moms!

So ive already had my two babies, my son is 9 months old and ive been breastfeeding for 9 months now. I had to ask the doctor for medicine so I could get my period back. I got it bavk september 24th and it ended on the 29th but im still nursing. I have no idea when ill be ovulating as I have no idea how often my periods come....so I have no idea what to expect. I know this question should be put into the "trying to convieve" section, but is it possible to ovulate the same day your period ends? I have tests ready and ovulation tests too but im holding off on the pregnancy tests. I just took an ovulation one and both lines looked about the same blue so I should be at my peak...but then a few minutes later the other line was darker making me not ovulating.

Ugh. Im confused and nervous bc my husband and I want another!!

My cousin got pregnant while she had a 8 month old and still nursing. She also didn't have periods, or regular periods anyway. It didn't stop her from getting prego. =) She didn't start trying till her son turned 8 months and she was pregnant before he hit 9 months. It didn't affect her milk either. Good luck! =)

Well we want another one now bc of how close we want the age. We know what to expect and we would like another baby and dont want to wait.

But if I have my period and im still nursing, im just hoping that it wont stop me from ovulating

I don't really know if you can or not. I've never heard of it but I don't what medication to start your period does to your cycle. I've never needed medication like. However i would say your baby is just 9mnths old so just relax and enjoy your son and let your next pregnancy happen when it happens. I was ready for another when my first was just 9mnths too bc she was so easy but I'm glad we waited bc my next was a little more needy and I don't think my next one would have understood why mommy was so busy with the new baby when she was still just a baby too at 18mnths.
