question for experienced mommas

Ok so my son is about 7 weeks old.  He is on formula we're using similac for gas and fussiness. He is completely fine during the day doesn't fuss hardly at all. He hasn't much problem with constipation or spitting up.  The last few days as soon as the clock hits 10pm he starts screaming bloody murder and nothing will calm him down.  Last night he screamed until almost midnight when finally broke down and drove him in the car. I don't think it's his formula cuz he doesn't have problems any other time of the day. I have tried gas drops, gripe water, colic tablets. They all work during the day but aren't touching it once 10 hits. After he finally falls asleep he is completely fine the rest of the night.  Any ideas what might be the problem?

So my man's cousin gave us the meds that they got for their son for acid reflux and colic and keegan slept better than he has in weeks and actually slept in his bed instead of on top of either me or daddy or in the swing. It is gonna take a couple days to be sure the meds are gonna help bit it is looking good that's for sure

He sleeps the majority of the day usually up about an hour or so around 12ish and then again between 6ish for about an hour. I was totally calm today not even thinking about him getting fussy. Tonight has been miles better than last night was but still not good or easy to deal with

Might be over tired just make sure he gets his naps during the day and all coz I found that being over tired use to make my daughter cry until I rocked her to sleep and tried everything I could to settle her just something else for you to think about its just always hard to tell why they cry at times like that

He might sense your anxiety at waiting for it to happen or about daddy coming home soon. My 9 month old gets fussy about 10 minutes before dad comes home cause he knows I'm anxious, too. I hope you can figure it out. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Nothing specific happens then.  Everyone else is on bed usually. Sometimes daddy gets home then or before but usually it's after. Nope I don't watch anything specific.  If he keeps it up I'm gonna call his Dr.. cuz I have tried everything I can think of any nothing really works.  I thought I got him down tonight quick but while he was still laying on me he woke up inconsolable again.

It could be gas or nervousness. There's tiny tummys gas drops at the dollar store for about $6. Its a life saver! And its so harmless that you can use it after every feeding. If that doesn't help, ask his doctor. There's colic medicine they can prescribe that's stronger than the tablets. Another possibility is that he just likes to cry. Its healthy for them to build up lung strength. Does anything significant happen around this time? Dad comes home from work, the dog barks to go out, you watch a certain show? You'd be surprised the things that cause a baby to cry.
