sex and pregnancy

im 39 weeks prego, about to pop, and it seems like my husband isn't attracted to me anymore. i mean he still has sex with me but its like he has to because he can't get it from anywhere else. he has to fill his needs. but he just doesn't look at me the same. and im starting to get pissed because he makes these stupid little comments all the time. like when victoria secret commercials come on he says how hot they are. and now he calls me things like chunky monkey!!! what the hell!!! im pregnant not fat and ugly!! is this just a phase or will he always look at me differently now?

Ya he always says he can't wait for me to be back in shape. I mean I know he loves me and would never say anything to purposely hurt me but sometimes he's just dumb. Lol. I tell him all the time that it bothers me but it's like he has short term memory or something I swear. I mean I can't wait to be skinny again either buy damn. Lol

I think guys dont realize that were still body conscious when pregnant. I think they just think we dont get bothered by our images because were supposed to get big bellies. My dh just said that i look like peter griffen off of family guy and it made me cry lol. He felt bad but i really think he thinks its ok to say that stuff bc im pregnant. As for saying other women are hot he might think it but wont say it in front of me- which i clearly dont mind! But our sex life is soo not the same when im preg which bothers me a lot but i know itl be normal again after i have our son. He was like that w my other two but worse this time around hsng in there and maybe talk to him about it.

DH was very careful not to call girls hot or attractive in front of me. But he would sometimes make comments like, "I can't wait until you're skinny again". I think its just one of those things.

I'm sorry to hear this =( Maybe he is nervous/excited and doesn't know how to respond? Every relationship is individual, hopefully he jokes because he is really scared! I found after having bub I had to put in extra effort to make sure hubby didn't feel left out... as tired as I was! Hope you work it out, remember hormones will be running wild for a while so don't jump into anything to drastically! Goodluck with Labour/birth and I hope you and your husband enjoy every second of parenthood!
P.S Pregnancy is beautiful (although alot of men can't see that!)
