Season has nothing to do with Parvo....food and water intake also has nothing to do with diagnosing Parvo. And that too is extremely rare to be passed to humans and again, its contracted through feces and 99% of the time only to other dogs. I work with sick animals all of the time and me and baby are perfectly fine. Parvo is known for strong iron smelling or metallic smelling diarrhea. Vomiting also accompanies the virus, and lack of appetite comes when the virus progresses. If the dog continues to vomit....just get it seen and keep up on puppy shots.
be careful that your puppy does not have parvo.it's in season in the summer time. It is a very horrible sickness and can kill your puppy and also can give you an infection because of the germs it holds and it being able to spread so quickly. Watch your puppies intake of food and water so you know whether it's parvo or not, and if not be thankful and it shouldn't be too bad if you picked up after it as long as you're being clean and washing your hands
My cats throw up hairball all the time and I have to clean them up. I also scoop the litter box occasionally.
Still keep an eye on him.....eating grass is a way to sooth an upset stomach, but doesn't mean he is okay.
Thanks :-) his doing better.. He ate a lot of grass.. He hasnt vomited since so I was worrying for nothing it would appear!
If he is throwing up often he needs to be checked. There aren't many things that you can catch from a dog. It's cat feces that has toxoplasmosis.
Unless he has Leptospirosis, which is contracted through urine, your good. Have him checked though, vomiting on a regular basis or more than once a week is concerning.
I mean I wud ill jus wear gloves or sumthing wash my hands and sanitize after
I personally wouldnt just to not risk it but thats just me idont really know if it will affect u I heard animal poop can so I would assume the vomit would too :/
