i keep mine next to my toothbrush holder in the bathroom with a little stack of dixie cups. thats the only way i remembered until i got in the habit of it. also, in the beginning when i was taking them in the morning, i got sick feeling from them. when i started taking them at night, no nausea. or maybe i slept thru it cuz i could sleep thru a tornado. lol!

I took them up to 16 weeks, then I stopped and miraculously so did my constant vomitting... I probably won't even take them next pregnancy

I didn't take vitamins with my first I just made sure I ate right. That was before I knew about flintstones but still didn't take them. I ate Belly Bars which I don't see in stores anymore but I wasn't putting them horse pills in me. He came out very healthy and alert like another person said low jaundice but cleared away. With this second one I've been taking prenatal gummies and I don't always remember them but they taste like candy. My baby is very healthy I'm 30 weeks 1 day.

I bought a week pill planner holder thing....it reminds me if I took mine that day or not. I have still forgot at times but I just continue to take them when I do remember. So far I have only missed 2 days but I think it would be worse if I didn't have that pill holder that has the weekdays on it. :0)

just take them with your breakfast in the morning, or when your brushing your teeth, work them into a daily routine, that way you wont forget

I am 37 weeks and 3 days and I think I took mine for about a week when I found out I was pregnant but they made me so sick I had to quit taking them. I even tried flinstone chewables and finally just gave up but my 19week ultrasound everything looked perfect and baby is growing right on track so I'm not worried!!

It's not the end of the world if you skip a day here or there. Just try to eat healthy, that should always come first. And if the pills make you sick, ask your doctor if you can switch to the gummies kind. I just pop a couple after dinner like dessert.
But never double dose, you body can only take in so much of them each day. Plus the meals you eat everyday already got lot of the same vitamins.

I take my vitamins before bed...
I also take iron pills. The iron make soo sick....
I don't like to take my vitamins and my iron together so sometimes I wake up at 2am because I forget to take them....if I take the iron in the day I feel so nauseated and I throw up.....

Take your vitamins when ever you remember as long as your not doubling the dosage.....it doesn't have to be at a certain time

when i was pregnant with my son at 16 i didnt know women had to take a vitamin and so i never took them for 5 months. he turned out to be perfectly healthy very very low jaundice so that was great all the doctors was amazed because all the other babies had alot of jaundice in them and my son was 6lb1oz and 20in long. with my daughter i took them form conception to the day i had her and she had to almost be in under lights for her jaundice because it was rising instead of going down until i went to go back to the hospital then it only went down 3 points so that was good but to me it seems like when women take prenatal vitamins it seems like babies has alot of jaundice. with this pregnancy i took them in the begging up until i was 14 weeks and then i stopped because they were making me so sick. i had my 20th week ultrasound and i was told my baby was perfectly healthy and there was nothing wrong with my lil girl=)).  now i will be 21 weeks tomorrow and still going great and i have not had no problems with this pregnancy=).

I put some in my purse. Sometimes I forget to take them before I leave the house, so it helps to have some onhand to take wherever you are. I also leave myself little reminders; I'm horrible with taking pills on time too, and I occasionally skip a day but I try to remember.

Many people don't take them at all, and have healthy babies. Just remember to eat right! I miss a few days sometimes too.

A prenatal vitamin is a relatively new thing. It won't hurt your baby if you don't take them, but you may suffer a bit. Your baby is drawing nutrients from your body. The baby will get what he or she needs from the food you eat. The vitamin is so you're not lacking after the baby draws the nutrients. It's best to set up a reminder every day. Maybe take then right before bed every night or put a reminder in your phone.

Don't double dose you definitely don't wanna take too much at once...but from now on write yourself a note and stick it on the fridge or bathroom mirror or your forehead if that's what you gotta do those vitamins are super important...I wouldn't have taken mine almost my entire first and second trimesters if it weren't for my husband...but I got the hang of it I'm sure you will too!
