smelly...
Okay super TMI...BUT i hope I'm not the only one, cause this is sort of embarrassing for me. Amyways. These last few weeks, I've started to notice this, smell. An this smell is coming from my baby making area. Vagina. Seriously, I know sounds gross. But I shower at least twice a day. Used to shower 3xs a day. I'm very clean. I don't understand why this is going on. Anyone else going through this? It's like i can shower an as soon as I get out i smell it. Why the heck do people call pregnancy a beautiful thing?? Lol. Back pain, stretch marks, painful nipples, pain in my ribs all has me disagreeing
Lol my eldest sister in law had that... At one point other could smell her too.. She use to be so embarrased and always putting on spray aftet every five mins.. Obviously it was down there she didnt know what to do more... It remained mystery to us.. As every women is different.. And vaginal discharge effects them differently... She had tht problem with her all 4 kids... However if its sudden i would say u should consult ur doctor just to be on safe side... I know its annoying and irritating but best u can do is stay as much as clean u can... U can also try reducing salt and fatty food from ur diet tht m8ght help...
I am in the same boat as you are nece... baby won't allow us to be intimate too often I drink so much water and I constantly leak discharge it's awful. I shower 2 times daily and I still have a scent I talked to my doctor and he told me it's all apart of being pregnant.... lovely! Dumb dumb dumb
Lol my hoo-ha smells yucky too and I asked my doc if I had an infection and results were normal! My bf said something too, we were showering together and he was like trying to wash me down there and I kept stopping him cause I can do it my damn self and finally he said, "well I have noticed this ummm scent, sorry please don't cry" I didn't cry just kicked him out of the shower with no sex and lateron told him its one of the less pleasant parts of pregnancy and if he ever says it again I will kill him lol
I had a smell with my first pregnancy. It was terrible!! Then at one point my boy friend was like "so dose your vagina smell cause your pregnant"? I cryed I was embarrassed I was hoping he wouldn't notice lol. After that I was terrified other people could smell it to:( so far no smell with this pregnancy thou
No you have a milder smell, but the hormones in your body make it alot stronger and your sensitive nose doesnt help haha
If it's just the nose being sensitive with pregnancy, does that mean the smell is there all the time and we just don't know?
@nece062013...that is funny! Fortunately for me all of my family is like that. An I get called the odd one for being the "quietest" one haha. My in laws find it hilarious though. They've never seen my hubby so open with anyone till he met me. But he's just as bad. If not worse at times haha
@cyn_henderson I just about peed myself cuz I was laughing so hard! I love that youre comfortable talking to your hubby like that! I do the same stuff with my fiancé and both of our families think we need to be put away in a mental institution or that we are 'very inappropriate' lol
Haha my husband an I have always been pretty open about stuff like this since we got married an it's been bugging me so bad i keep telling him today he said, " c'mon outside spread em an I'll hose you down with the water hose." I wanted to tell him shove it...but i found it hilarious for some odd reason haha. So i just said just bug me some freebreeze so i can stick it in my pants
its true not enough water is a major cause of vaginal ikies in pregnancy in the first 6 months ur supposed to drink atleast 8 to 16oz of water an hour to keep u and baby hydrated we are creating ALOT of extra blood wich dehydrates us easily so drink up ladies

Lol me too at work i feel like people stare but i think its jus me..but i smell it as soon as i pull mt panties down nd sit in the toilet then i think my bf notices itso now i jus dont wanna have sex sumtimes he probably thinks im dirty its embarassing :/ wipes it is lol
Well pregnant people smell it alot more than anyone else! And sorry baby wipes is the only thing i can think of that is safe and wont hurt baby or you xD
@nece2013...oh my goodness....i feel your pain haha. I walked out of the shower an I looked at my husband an said "my damn vag man! Smells worse then a dirty ******!" I think our noses are the problem haha

I don't like to leave my house because I feel like the smell is soooo intense and that everyone will look at me like im a homeless prostitute, because that's what I feel like I smell like! and like you said @cyn_hendersen, I can just get out of the shower and it smells just as bad as before I took one! its aggravating.
If the smell is really bugging you and water isnt helping try panty liners and baby wipes after you pee. You know change out the liner and baby wipe to help wipe after.. might help a bit if water isnt working but thats all i can think of xD
@nece062013...that's literally like the same thing I'm going through! I drink water all day. Pretty much the only thing i drink except for tea or juice which i have with dinner. I know for sure I drink more than 5 bottles of water a day...seems like I'm always thirsty. My hubby an i don't get intimate cause it is too painful for me. But i do get that discharge i dont get it /:
Its normal.. lol your hormones are going over board and makes new smells plus your pregnant so you can smell it alot more then people who arent :P
