Anm89 what does a tilted uterus have to do with a c section ... I had or have one but my midwife told that it won't effect you giving birth
There are a lot of situations where c-section is best. But I still dont want one
I tried so hard not to get a c section! But my doctor never bothered to check how big my baby was. And he wasn't on call when I gave birth so the other doctor told me that she didn't know why he let me get to 41 weeks with a 10lb baby. So i ended up with a c section. :(
If my placenta doesn't move ill need a c-section. :(.
@baby due I know it doesn't necessarily mean I'll end up having one but they won't let me go even a week over and I haven't dilated at all. I'm scared that they're rushing everything and not even giving me a chance to do this naturally
I wanted a vaginal birth so bad but ended with a c section.
Honestly sometimes c-sections are necessary. My son would've died had it not been for a c-section, and my daughter and I are both healthy thanks to my second one. I think it seems so "popular" and like it's increasing because we're on a forum with a thousand pregnant women, it also sounds like miscarriages, still births, birth defects, complications, etc. is very common because of how often it's mentioned on this site, it's just the huge amount of people pregnant. I loved my c-section, would've done natural in a heartbeat if i could've but loved my birth experiences, wouldn't change them now.
I was induced with my first they thought I would need a c secontion cuz I was so small but nope she came out after a few hours she was 8.1 lbs 21in my second my water broke on my due date she was 9.2lbs. The doc and the nurses couldn't believe I was able to birth such big childeren with no problems. If you don't want a csection don't let them force you into it your the one givi ng birth unless its an emergancy I would fight it!
Where i live you only get c sections if its a must and other wise its all natural andnsometimes even cut you to get the head out well my sister in law got cut.
Im hoping nothing goes wrong and i have my baby natural
Yeah it's really sad. I tried so hard to have a vaginal birth. I was in hard labor for 3 days and pushed for 3 hours with no pain medication before they finally realized my son's head was too big for me. I hated those doctors. I was 42 weeks 6 days. My son was 9 and a half pounds and looked like a toddler when he came out. I got a new doctor for this pregnancy and they've already got me scheduled for a csection on Christmas. I asked to do a vbac but they said no cause my uterus is tilted. =/ I really don't want to have another c section but it looks like i don't have a choice =/
I was induced with my first and had a vaginal birth. Got induced and had her the same day. It's not always a bad thing.
Just cause your getting induced doesn't mean your gonna have a c section. A lot of women are induced and go on to have vaginal births.
I had my 40 week appt today and she's already talking about having me induced next week. I'm so mad.
I only made it to a 2 after 9 hours and after I got the epidural her heart rate dropped to 66. That was it for me lol
Mine was too, his head was huge and my stuff is tiny lol. They said i would be lucky to have a 6 lb baby through my va jj. Smh, my midwife tried though lol, for 15 long hours. I went in at 1.5, after pitocin, my water breaking, epidural, and 15 hours of hard contractions.... I only went to 3 lol.
I would cry if I have one.
@ vro that exactly what I was thinking. All my friends on medicaid has c sections includibg myself. Mine was medically necessary though
Most docs do csections now because alot of girls are on medicaid. So doc get way more money if they do surgery. Sad but true
My dr is only going to do a c-section if something happens thank God
I got a c-section after trying to give natural birth for 73 hours. Sometimes it's just medical reasons.
Im going to attempt a vbac but me doc is dumb and will only let me do 6hrs of trial labor before they make me do a c section. Debating if its even worth it cuz Im assuming there gonna push for the c section. :(
