isthisnormal- unfortunately it is the truth. Each reproductive woman has a 25% chance (or less) to conceive each cycle. Many things have to work well in order to achieve pregnancy. Good sperm quality, good egg quality, timing, etc.
roro88- how long have you been trying? It can take up to a year for a woman to conceive. Even if you are ovulating and having normal cycles your partner's sperm could have problems. Your OBGYN can refer you to a specialist for tests if you aren't able to conceive after a year of trying.
Otherwise, do as Sasha said! Don't stress and don't think about it. Just have fun with your partner!
With our first, it took hubby and I 17 months to conceive. We finally gave up. Two months after, we had a few drinks, did our thing and the test was positive (no ovulation test, no legs in the air....just intimacy). With this babe, I got pregnant the first try. Try to avoid all and any stress. Just "do it" without thinking about it. Taking all those tests to predict ovulation and such is probably adding to your stress. I also believe that laying there with your legs up for 30 min. also causes stress therefore unnecessary. It only takes one sperm. The only thing I didn't do after sex was go pee and have a shower (the months we conceived). Unsure of how long you have been trying for but check with your OB to find out when they start doing fertility tests to ensure that all is okay with you and hubby (if this is your first).
Wishing you all the best. Good luck!
that's such a grim percentage. :(
