stomach enlarged in fetus
My daughter in law had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and the doctor said the babies stomach was enlarged. You can see it in the photos. He mentioned the baby may have swallowed some amniotic fluid but suggested getting a more high definition ultrasound in another month. Does anyone have any answers on why this would happen? What concerns should we have?
I agree it seems wierd that the baby would have swallowed some amnotic fluid because they swallow that then it ejects from them in the woumb so thats normal... I would def ask the doc!
