supplementing formula

I plan on breast feeding my daughter but im scared if I'm not making enough milk I'll have to supplement formula. Did any of you ladies who breast fed previously buy formula just in case?  I wanna be prepared but I really don't want to use formula

And yes be sure to consult the lactation consultant! If it wasn't for that with my first I would have been lost :)

I never had this problem.
But my hospital provided formula to me if needed and sent me home with a new can. So if it doesn't work out don't panic. But most woman do just fine :)

I bought one cannister but the lactation consultant at hospital will go over breastfeeding and how to keep up your milk supply after you have the behbeh!!
