swimming

Can u swim after losing ur mucus plug? Im 38+2 and my bil asked us to go swimming in his pond. Can i get an infection now?

I lost mine also and was told no swimming, it's to risky to cause an infection

Thanks! I hung out on the side w my feet in. Wish this baby would hurry up tho!

In my first pregnancy i lost my mucus plug early at 28weeks and my doc told me not to go swimming in the lake, river, pool or take baths constantly since the barrier is gone bacteria can have easy access.

I would def stay away from ponds, lakes and oceans..like the other ladies said I think a pool would be okay!

That seal has been broken I wouldn't. They're not treated like pools are

Ponds have a lot of bacteria and what not, my opinion would would be its a no go. A swimming pool may be acceptable though! Maybe you can call your doctor before you make any final decisions?
